I'm a bit of a hopeless romantic
I guess I'll finally admit it
I've seen too many dramas to not
dream about it

I know in reality it's not like that
Because the line between being cute
And being the guy in You
Is a curated coincidence
Borne out of an obsessed benevolence

I'm a bit of a hopeless romantic
I don't really act like it
I enjoy friendship, banter, and jokes
With emotionally intelligent folks

Memers with a healthy dose
Of deep introspection
Who can look at their reflection
And say
"Hey,
I know you."
And then say to themselves,
"I want to know her too."
